People Food
How about a little change of pace? Sometimes when you have been hard at work, tying flies, sorting and organizing, shopping for the latest gadget and last but not least stalking the wily trout till all hours of the night - sometimes you get a little hungry and need to refuel. You can always do the midnight drive-by for a quick Quarter Pounder and a Diet Coke, and if you're lucky, it's hard to beat a Spike Burger in Grayling or a quick snack at the Happy Hour on Hebgen Lake. But every once in a while, you deserve a special treat and I'm here to help you out. For your dining pleasure, I have decided to offer some of the time tested favorite recipes from the Brack Hill Tackle people kitchen. These offerings represent a peek into my childhood, some interesting additions from the in-laws, a few stolen from some of the finer dining establishments I have had the pleasure to frequent and finally, some of my personal favorites that have evolved over time with careful nurturing and refinement. So have fun - be careful with the Cayenne and Bourbon - and feel free to forward a comment, question or to share one of your favorites.
