The Madonna is a very popular Sculpin style streamer that was originated by Ray Schmidt here in Michigan. I like to tie mine a little on the large side with 2 strips of rabbit to provide some extra wiggle at the stern. With the 1 1/2 wraps of lead wire and the cone head, this guy (or gal) goes deep to tempt the big Browns down in their hidey holes. Once again, The Olive color is one of my favorites, but I carry this streamer in White, Tan, Yellow, Grey and Black. Mix & match - have fun! |
